PGP Presents Skin Care Concepts at the World’s Biggest Cleaning and Hygiene Trade Fair
Modern dispensing systems for every field of application is one of the topics the German skin care experts from Peter Greven Physioderm (PGP) present at the Interclean trade fair. In Amsterdam, PGP also exhibits its extensive UV protection portfolio as well as a new generation of very powerful and skin-compatible skin cleaners based on the surfactant combination called OptiTens. Last but not least, PGP offers its range of services at booth 12.611 as systematic skin care especially lives - in addition to effective and skin-friendly products - from individual customer advice.
Skin diseases are among the most common occupational diseases. A professional skin care system helps to prevent illnesses and thus reduces absenteeism, loss of productivity, high costs – and above all, large burdens for the sick employees. As skin care requires intensive support, companies that want to introduce a professional skin care system or optimise an existing system should consult experts. In contrast to the competitors who only offer products, PGP provides such individual advice on site: the Dutch skin care consultant Paul van Delft is on the road in the Benelux countries and advises the customers of the worldwide operating manufacturer holistically, systematically and continuously in all aspects of professional skin care. Paul van Delft, native of Dussen, visits the workplaces, conducts an analysis together with occupational physicians and safety officers and suggests effective and skin-friendly products and solutions to the customers. This is part of the extensive service portfolio presented by the skin care experts at the world's leading trade fair for the laundry, cleaning and rental textiles industry.
Effective Dispensing Systems for Every Application
In addition, PGP shows modern dispensing systems at the Interclean. These are immensely relevant to professional skin care, because even the most effective products for skin protection, cleaning and care are ineffective if they are not properly applied and dosed. On the one hand, the dispensing system named Variomat is the right solution for medium and large enterprises in industry and crafts. All Variomat models are very efficient and robust. Even in every-day use, the plastic dispensers hardly show signs of wear and are almost maintenance-free. The good residual emptying and the possibility to preset the output quantity make the Variomat models very economical in handling. In contrast to many conventional devices, the pump is not fixed in the dispenser, but directly on the bottle. Therefore, it is exchanged with every bottle change, which is a great advantage with regard to hygiene and product safety. Keyword hygiene: As the dispensing system is closed, it does not come into contact with the product, which is also an advantage in terms of cleanliness. For applications where dispensers are particularly challenged, the Variomat models are also available as a highly resistant metal version.
On the other hand, the Neptune dispensing system is ideal for use in the administration, in medium-sized industrial enterprises and in public areas. With their sleek, compact and unobtrusive shape, the dispensers offer an appealing design – even in representative areas. All Neptune models are very functional and universally applicable. They have a capacity of one liter and dispense creams and lotions as well as gels, liquids and foam products. The integrated clean-tip technology automatically cleans the pump outlet after each application. This ensures maximum hygiene while minimizing the dripping. All Neptune models are extremely low maintenance and easy to use.
Surfactant Combination is Efficient and Skin-Friendly
In Germany, the family-owned enterprise, founded in 1923 and now lead in third generation, is regarded as the innovation leader of the industry, which knows the needs of its customers very precisely. PGP works closely with research institutes to always find new solutions for users. Thus, a new generation of skin cleansers was recently developed in collaboration with scientists from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Dermatological Prevention and Rehabilitation at the University of Osnabrück (IDerm). These skin cleansers are both powerful and particularly compatible with the skin. They are based on the novel, patent-pending surfactant combination OptiTens and refute the previous presumption that effective surfactants are automatically less skin-friendly. The new development is a major relief for all those employees who are permanently exposed to severe skin strains, for example, because they often have to wash their hands.
Effective Protection Against UV Radiation / White Skin Cancer
Another topic at the booth is UV protection. PGP provides various solutions for particularly vulnerable occupational groups. The German experts have the industry’s most comprehensive UV protection programme and, therefore, offer individual protection possibilities. The fragrance-free sun protection cream Physio UV 30 Sun is very water-resistant and, thus, does not have to be re-applied immediately when the user is sweating. For professionals such as roofers that are even more exposed to solar radiation, the water-resistant and fragrance-free Physio UV 50 Spray or the very water-resistant cream Physio UV 50 Plus are suitable. Especially the latter has been proven to protect from harmful UV-C radiation and, therefore, it is also recommended for welding work.
